Rust, C++ and Python. I wrote the Rust control plane for E‑Jam, a switch-testing bench at Siemens EDA, shipped the rhythm game PolyBall on my own, and build Python and PostgreSQL backends at Odoo.

  1. Jan – Aug 2023Siemens EDA · E‑Jam. Software engineer on the graduation project, remote from Cairo. Wrote Center Point, the Rust control plane on Actix Web: a REST API that drives every stream, device and process through explicit state machines and publishes to Apache Kafka against a schema registry. Built the Flutter admin client. Team of five, top contributor with 256 commits. One switch test cycle went from 2 h+ to about 10 min, and 5+ manual test cases run end to end with pass/fail.   2. 2026PolyBall. Rhythm game, solo: design, code, audio and release. Godot 4, GDScript, v0.10.8. In Google Play closed testing in 178 countries; 16 tagged releases from 23 Sep to 30 Oct 2026, on itch.io, GameJolt and the web at abdaishere.com/polyball. Every note is synthesised at runtime, 16 additive voices, no music files. CI across six targets on GitHub Actions. 15 locales, with Arabic right-to-left layout covered by tests. Supabase (PostgreSQL) leaderboard: monthly cup, server-side anti-cheat, name filter, block and report. Browser boot cut from 9.2 s to 5.7 s.
  3. Apr 2025 – nowOdoo PSAE · Software engineer, Dubai. Python and PostgreSQL work on 100+ client projects: data models, business logic, database and performance fixes. Designed and built 5+ vertical modules now used by every client in their segment. Reviews partner code against Odoo standards. Star of the Month, July 2026.
