Delete your data
The fastest way
Uninstalling PolyBall removes the save file, your settings, your scores and the gameplay log with it. Nothing survives the uninstall on your device. Three anonymous things can still exist on our servers, covered under Online data below. In the browser build, clearing this site's data in your browser does the same for that browser.
Without uninstalling
In the game: Settings › DATA › RESET PROGRESS clears your scores and progress. Settings › DATA also turns the gameplay log off and deletes it.
Note that Android may keep a backup of the save in your own Google Drive if you have Android Backup switched on. That copy belongs to your Google account, not to us, and Google's own backup settings control it.
Purchases
Purchase records are held by Google Play, not by us. We never see your name, your email or your payment details. Refunds and purchase history are handled in the Play Store or at play.google.com/store/account.
Ads
Google AdMob may hold an advertising identifier associated with your device. You control it in Android Settings › Privacy › Ads, where you can delete or reset it. In the EEA and the UK, the game's Settings › DATA › AD CONSENT row reopens the consent form so you can withdraw consent.
Online data
Three records can exist on our servers, all keyed to a random install identifier generated on your device (never your email or an account):
Leaderboard row: your best scores, each with its mode, side count, catches and run length (and, for Remix, the trickster reaction times), the platform it was played on (Android, Web, Windows, macOS or Linux), and the plate, title and title font you had equipped, under the player name you chose (or a generated one), if the game ever submitted one. That name is shown publicly on the board. Kept so the board can show your rank; not removed by RESET PROGRESS or uninstalling. A submission that failed the board's cheating checks may be held, with the same fields, for up to 90 days for review. Name reports you sent, or that were made about your name, are kept for 90 days, and a review decision about your name is kept with your row; both are deleted with it.
Monthly cup archive: the same leaderboard fields, frozen once a month's cup board closes, so past standings and prizes can still be shown. Kept indefinitely; not removed by RESET PROGRESS or uninstalling.
Analytics events: anonymous usage statistics (PostHog), which you can switch off in Settings › DATA › ANALYTICS.
To delete any or all of these: email abdaishere@gmail.com with the word DELETE. Since the game has no account, include your anonymous ID so we can find your rows: open Settings › DATA › ANONYMOUS ID and tap COPY, then paste it into the email. Rows are removed within 30 days, and the reply confirms what was deleted.
